Naturopathic Medicine
Looking for a natural and holistic approach to your health?
Do you have unusual or concerning symptoms despite being told that all your labs are normal?
Have you been prescribed medications but don’t feel good taking them or can’t handle the side effects?
Maybe you want to be proactive with a natural and preventive approach to optimize your health as you age.
Naturopathic medicine addresses the whole person.
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct form of healthcare that combines the wisdom of nature with the rigors of modern science. Naturopathic medicine looks at the whole person—making sense of all the body systems as one and addressing health at the level of the body, mind, and spirit.
Naturopathic medicine seeks to identify the root cause of illness and then support healing with gentle, effective therapies.

What to Expect
01: Initial Consultation (virtual)
You will be asked to complete an extensive intake form and submit any recent labs and imaging before your first visit. This allows Dr. Parrish to review the materials and make the most of your time together. Please allow up to 90 minutes for your initial consultation.
02: Functional Medicine Testing
Depending on your previous lab work and health history, Dr. Parrish will likely order additional testing to uncover the root cause of your health concerns. These tests can include bloodwork, salivary testing, or stool testing to assess thyroid function, gut health, micronutrient status, food allergies, environmental toxins, and more. See testing options here >
03: Personalized Health Plan
Once your lab results are received, you’ll have a consultation to review the results and receive a comprehensive plan to help you feel better fast and optimize your health over time. Naturopathic recommendations might include nutrition, supplementation, homeopathy, or other natural therapies to support and optimize your body’s health.
04: Optimization & Coordination
The best results will come when you commit to gradual changes over time. Follow-up consultations are important for modifying your plan and keeping you moving toward your goals. Dr. Parrish also believes patients are best served when they have a team of health care providers and often refers to conventional doctors or specialists (including endocrinologists, nutritionists, therapists, acupuncturists, or pelvic PT specialists) to coordinate complete care.
